Second most likely passage for the test:

Context: Tennyson is trying to reconcile faith with modern science. As scientist propose new theories and discard old ones, its much different from faith which is constant and never changes. Tennyson encourages men to continue to seek scientific answers, but at the same time to remain faithful. He believes science and faith can once again combine as different sounds combine to make beautiful music.
